Robot and endo-urology fellowship Urologisch Centrum Noord West-Vlaanderen, Bruges, BE

From September 1st, 2025, till August 31st, 2026, remunerated

You will mainly work with dr. Pieter D’hulst, dr. Pieter Uvin and dr. Christophe Ghysel

An average working week currently consists of the following:

• 1⁄2 day own OR time, including robotics if confident

• 1⁄2 day robot OR time (supervision dr. Uvin/Ghysel)

• 1⁄2 day extra robot OR time for cystectomies if desired (supervision dr. Baekelandt/Arentsen)

• 1-day endo-urology OR time (supervision dr. D’hulst)

• 2 1⁄2 day clinic, including own consultation list

You will participate in the on-call system with our residents (only on weekends, 1/4 - 1/5)

In terms of procedures:

• General urology procedures

• Kidney: robot (partial) nephrectomy, robot nephroureterectomy, upper tract reconstruction,

  (m)PNL, ECIRS, complex ureterorenoscopy

• Bladder: robot radical cystectomy with intracorporeal Bricker or neobladder

• Prostate: robot radical prostatectomy (Da Vinci and Hugo system), transperineal prostate biopsy, HoLEP (3-lobe and en-bloc techniques)

AZ Sint-Jan Bruges has 3 robotic systems (2x Da Vinci Xi dual consoles with simulator and 1x Medtronic Hugo system)

AZ Sint-Jan Bruges has a 150W Quanta Holmium laser AZ Sint-Lucas Bruges has a 100W Quanta Holmium laser
